From Parliamentary flunkeys and roving musicians at the Final Dinner of the Constitutional Convention, Old Parliament House, to impersonating a group of cattle breeders at the Galloway Breeders Association Dinner for the Royal Canberra Show, from gate-crashing wedding guests at a Christmas party for a law firm to comedic waiters at the Hyatt during a corporate dinner, the Canberra-based Posers can do almost anything to entertain your guests, make your event go smoothly, and break the ice and get people talking. We're experts at getting along with people! And we are trained actors, musicians, puppeteers, and writers, with a great many other talented performers on tap to suit requirements!

EVENTS And we'll work with you to develop characters you might need, research and write material, create performances and speeches, and if you want us to we can be totally realistic and fool your guests. We can call on musicians, puppeteers, dancers, living statues, clowns, and excellent actors to fit your needs. We will listen to what you want, meet your timetable, help you move guests between venues, and make your job a whole lot easier! For example, in 2005 we created and delivered a 15 minute nationally broadcast performance event as part for the culminating event of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Australian Bureau of Statistics, in their corporate headquarters, with a team of 12 performers, in front of the Federal Treasurer and the entire Bureau staff, to a very specific brief, and to great press coverage. We can do it for your event, too!

CONFERENCES We consult with you to create the atmosphere you want, research your needs and the conference subject matter, and adding a little drama to the occasion if required! Or special characters - may we suggest the Mayor of Canberra, Ophelia Power? She's fabulous, tall, with huge hair, and totally party-oriented. Dr Rex Relaxelson, loopy Professor of Forensic Physiotherapy from the Institute of Kuranda in far North Queensland (he's very believable). Or Alice McDougall, straight from her CWA meeting in full tweeds and home remedies? Musical chefs, roving the tables and making sure your guests are having the best time? Want someone to be on the bus to the conference or greet people as they get off to get them in the right mood? That's us!

MUSEUM THEATRE We are specialists in creating superb pieces of museum performance, from research and scripting, consulting, sourcing props and costumes, to performing the pieces to all types of audiences. We can recreate paintings, live radio plays or historical characters from Prime Ministers, painters, to the institutional cleaning lady. Some of our success include recreating Edwardian paintings for the National Gallery of Australia, real individuals for the National Museum of Australia, a WWI Gallipoli nurse for the Australian War Memorial. If you have a great idea we can take it, run with it, and deliver it on time, on budget, and with integrity.
